Chemical composition:

Flowers contain volatile oils (rose oil) of about 0.03%, mainly composed of citronellol, geraniol Mang alcohol, nerol, eugenol, phenyl ethanol. Citronellol content of up to 60% alcohol content Mang inferior citronellol geraniol, nerol 5 to 10%, eugenol, and phenylethanol about 1% each. Oil and with nonanol, benzyl alcohol, linalool, phenylethyl acetate. In addition, the flowers still contain quercetin glycosides, bitter quality, tannins, fatty oil, organic acids (gallic acid), red pigment, yellow pigment, wax, β-carotene.
